Disability Swim Squad North
This page gives information about training and events in South West (North)
Training
The squad’s northern swimmers meet at Tockington Manor School currently every other month.
Training is always at a weekend, and consists of a land based activity starting at 10am,
and then a pool session between 10.30am-12 noon.
The sessions are led by ASA coaches, and sessions are designed to meet specific needs of the swimmers.
Swimmers can then get a focussed session, and work on specific areas that they need to develop.
Any teacher or coach from a local club is welcome to attend to gain more experience of working with
swimmers with a disability.
